A week in Örö at the end of November 2023 provided a chance to remember my first visit to the island for the Öres residency in November 2020. I visited some of the pine trees I performed with then, or on later trips, and they are all introduced on a separate page on this same blog, here. I wonder why I didn’t create a page already for my visit in May 2022, the previous time I spent a week on Örö as part of this same project. Anyway, this trip was fascinating, because the weather changed in one week from rainy and muddy to frost and sun and then plenty of snow. I guess some of the materials I recorded this week will end up in my exhibition in Muu Contemporary Art Centre in January 2024. The opening is already on 5th January!
