Last pondering with the pine in the park

During the year 2023 I have visited a pine tree in Kaivopuisto Park in Helsinki once or twice a month and recorded a conversation in English with the pine on video. The soundtrack I have also made into an episode on the podcast Talking with Trees. I have adressed the pine for other purposes as well, like the exchange between a pine in Helsinki and a pine in Stockholm, Tallar emellan (Between Pines), which is also available on the RC, as material here and as edited compilations here. And for a presentation “Is it too late to start talking with trees?” at the SAR conference in Trondheim (see here) as well as brief contribution to a discussion about JAR or Journal for Artistic Research (see here). The last visit to the pine took place on 27 December and resulted in a video called Pondering with a Pine in the Park 22 archived on the RC here and as a podcast episode with the same name on Soundcloud, here. Next year I will probably continue my conversations with another pine.
