During Spring 2024 I have worked with two new pines, besides the four pines I began to work with in January and plan to continue meeting with until the end of the year. The three pines that I have conversations with regularly and also create podcast episodes with are the two pines by the shore in Kaivopuisto Park, With the Pines (in English), the pine on Drumsö, Med Drumsötallen (in Swedish), and the pine in Blueberry Land, Mustikkamaan männyn kanssa (in Finnish). And then there is the Pine of the Year that I play blues harp for and record the year of the pine with. Not to forget the pine by Essingeleden in Stockholm that I visit every time I am there, and with whom I have found some pine pals, too.

The two new pines that I met with for shorter periods were first one of the many beautiful pines in Hietaniemi in Helsinki, which I talked with a few times for Citizen Pine, (see image above) and most recently a pine in Äkäslompolo in the north of Finland, which I spent a day and night with for Midnight to Midnight (see images below). The last one I met during a retreat organised by the project Gifts from the Sentient Forest, and that one I hope to return to in September.
