This year my two weeks as a gallery sitter on Harakka Island take place at the end of August, and the exhibition where I show my videos this time is called With a Pine. Besides the pleasure of being able to show one’s work in a relatively relaxed manner it is also a good opportunity to enjoy a bit of summer vacation.
Männyn kanssa – With a Pine – Med en fura
Annette Arlander conversed with a pine in Kaivopuisto Park in English about her current concerns repeatedly in the year 2023 as part of her project Pondering with Pines. A series of video works of the conversations Pondering with a Pine in the Park 1–22 is shown in the Telegraph Gallery on Harakka island from 20 August to 1 September 2024. Tue-Sun noon to 5 pm.
